Not too shabby if I do say so myself. That was the simple part. The part where things got complicated was when my husband lost patience since I was fighting for my deodorant coupon to come off and they refused. He got mad at me fighting over $.75, then I had to explain that it was really $1.50 today! Now, it wasn't really a fight between my husband and I, he just doesn't get the thrill of getting a deodorant for fifty cents! However, in his defense, it might have been a fight between the cashier and I if it wasn't for my husband telling me we had to leave. End result - I left without the deodorant. bummer.
Overall, I recommend hitting the double coupon events at K-Mart, but you need to know your prices. Sometimes things are not cheaper than Wal-Mart or a sale even with the double coupons. Plus, you need to have coupons at face value over $1.00 to really do well. So go for the thrill, look around, coupon carefully and try to get $.50 deodorant.
